Paws Beneath The Moon A4 Print

Wai Wai Or is a Hong Kong artist currently based in London.

Featuring her original character, the Pineapple Cat combines the visual language of Hong Kong's pineapple bun with the presence of ginger cats from Wai Wai's family cha chaan teng, where they acted as quiet guardians of the space. The character embodies themes of memory, care, and local identity.

Set against that fateful day in 1952 when the number 78 bus jumped over Tower Bridge as it was raising, Paws Beaneath The Moon is the perfect blending of cultures.
